In COD orders, courier agents often mark deliveries as "customer not available" without actually visiting the address. Since no payment is collected upfront, they have no accountability to complete the delivery.
When you pay at checkout, the courier carries a package with confirmed value - which creates real responsibility on their end to deliver it to you.
If a COD order is returned to us undelivered, we absorb losses across every stage:
Couriers handle outbound packages carefully - a damaged box means a rejected delivery. On the way back, that same care disappears. Products are frequently damaged in return transit due to rough handling, making them unsellable. Which is a big cost to a new startup.
We made the decision that protects your order. Prepaid orders are prioritised, tracked diligently, and handled with far greater care throughout the delivery chain.
